Habit Stacking

#stacking#bundling

New habits hold tight when anchored to old ones. The formula is one line:

After [current habit] I will [new habit].

After I pour coffee — one minute of wall sits. After I sit in the car — I’ll plan my day. After I load the dishwasher — I’ll set the kettle.

An existing habit is a ready-made neural hook. You don’t need to build a new path in your brain from scratch. You’re just adding a branch to an old tree.

Tip: write down three stable habits. Anchor one new habit to each using the “after X — I’ll do Y” formula. Start with one pair.
